CIFSSTORE(1) Sharity User's Manual

NAME
cifsstore - Store credentials in password database.

LOCATION
    %globaldir%/bin/cifsstore

SYNOPSIS
    cifsstore <server> [<options>]

DESCRIPTION
This command stores your credentials in the password database or
deletes stored credentials from the database. You can only store
YOUR credentials from an active login at a server. The server name
must be given on the commandline.

Security Note: Storing passwords is not secure! Although Sharity
tries to encrypt the password, it must be possible to decrypt the
stored information because Sharity must be able to do that without
user intervention. There's no way around this security hole except
    NOT storing passwords.
Storing passwords is only secure if nobody except you has
root-access to files on your machine. Physical access to a machine
is equivalent to root access! Hackers will find a way to become
root if they have an account on a machine.

    Valid options are:

-h Print short help and exit
-d Delete stored login record from the database
